Terms of Service

These terms cover the Cubewords apps for iPhone and Android and the Cubewords website, cubewords.xyz. Cubewords belongs to Chonkers LLC. Space Inch, LLC publishes it on the App Store, Google Play and the Galaxy Store under license from Chonkers LLC. In these terms, “we” means both. By using Cubewords you agree to these terms.

Playing Cubewords

Today’s easy cube is free every day, and you can play without an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, your progress is kept with your account so you can pick it up on another device or on the website.

Please play fair with other people. Don’t use a name that’s offensive or pretends to be someone else, and don’t use friend links or challenges to harass anyone. We may change a name, or close an account, that breaks these rules.

Cubewords Plus

Cubewords Plus is a subscription that adds the daily medium and hard cubes, the monthly mega cube, every past day, and every look. It costs $3.99 a month, or $19.99 for the first year and $29.99 a year after that, in the United States. On the App Store the yearly plan is $19.99 every year. Prices in other countries can differ, and the price is always shown before you pay.

You can subscribe in the iPhone app through the App Store, in the Android app through Google Play or, on Samsung Galaxy phones, the Galaxy Store, or on cubewords.xyz, where checkout is run by RevenueCat and payments are handled by Stripe. When you’re signed in, Plus comes with your account wherever you play.

Free trial

If you’ve never subscribed, Plus may start with a free week. Unless you cancel before the week ends, the subscription you chose starts and you’re charged. There’s one free trial per person.

Renewal and cancelling

Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the current price, until you cancel. You’re charged through the App Store, Google Play, the Galaxy Store or the card you used on the website.

To cancel:

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Plus stays on until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Deleting your Cubewords account doesn’t cancel a subscription, so cancel it first.

Refunds

Purchases in the apps are refunded by Apple, Google or Samsung under their own policies: use reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, Google Play’s refund request for Google Play, or Samsung’s support for the Galaxy Store.

For a purchase on the website, email hello@cubewords.xyz within 14 days of a charge and we’ll refund that charge in full. After 14 days we don’t refund time you’ve already paid for, but you can cancel so you aren’t charged again.

Price changes

If the price of Plus goes up, we’ll tell you before your next renewal at the new price, and you can cancel before then. The App Store, Google Play and the Galaxy Store also notify you under their own rules.

Our content

The Cubewords name, and the puzzles, clues, artwork and software in Cubewords, belong to Chonkers LLC. Space Inch, LLC uses them under license. You’re welcome to play, share your results and send friends links to cubes. Please don’t copy the puzzles to publish or sell them.

Changes to Cubewords

We keep improving Cubewords, so puzzles, looks and features will change over time. We try to keep it running smoothly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Cubewords is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Cubewords in the 12 months before a claim.

The iPhone app

If you use Cubewords on an iPhone or iPad, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change affects your subscription, we’ll tell you before it takes effect.
